Wayne R. Guzikowski, 49, of Marlinton, died August 4, 1998, of injuries from an accident.

Robert J. Neighbors
Sgt. Robert J. Neighbors, 63, of Big Springs, Texas, died May 27, 1998.
He was born on September 7, 1934, the son of Kyle "Catty" and Ina Neighbors.
Sgt. Neighbors was a graduate of Cass Grade School and Green Bank High School. He served over 20 years in the Air Force and retired to Big Springs.
Survivors include his wife, Olludine; four sons, Kyle, Craig, Ross, and Barton; five daughters, Daryl Jo, Kathy, Tina, Andrea, and Ina Shay; all of Texas; two sisters, Mary Snyder, of Cass, and Marsha Ware, of St. Matthews, South Carolina; and several grand- children.
Burial was at Big Springs.

Edward H. McLaughlin, Jr.
Edward H. McLaughlin, Jr., 67, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, died July 2, 1998, at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.
He was born in Marlinton on September 14, 1930, the son of Edward and Pearl Dilley Mc- Laughlin.
Mr. McLaughlin was employed by the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway and the Southern Railway. In 1955 he moved from Amherst, Virginia, to work for the Florida East Coast Railroad. During his career with FEC he worked in all aspects of railroad operations. He was a resident of New Smyrna Beach since 1957, where he was co-owner and vice-president of the Coronado Travel Agency.
He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and the Smyrna Yacht Club. He was a former member of the New Smyrna Beach Rotary Club, New Smyrna Beach Golf and Country Club, Fairgreen Country Club, New Smyrna Beach Personnel Board, and co-founded the Committee for Better Schools.
Survivors include his wife, Louise, of New Smyrna Beach; four daughters, Louise Piper, of Fort Pierce, Florida, Margaret Maddington, of Kula Maui, Hawaii, Isabel McLaughlin, of New Smyrna Beach, and Catherine Mc- Laughlin, of DeLand, Florida; two sisters, Grace Shelton and Margaret Deputy, both of Huntersville; and four gran- children.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd McLaughlin.
The family suggests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, Southeast Volusia County Unit, P. O Box 266, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32170.

Lena B. Fuller
Lena Jennings Brown Fuller, 86, of Frankford, died July 31, 1998, in Greenbrier Nursing Home after a long illness.
She was born at Spice, the daughter of Kenny and Emma Barrett Brown.
Survivors include one son, Robert Fuller, of Frankford; two sisters, Nina Friel, of Marlinton, and Nila Simmons, of Hillsboro; one brother, Harold Brown, of Oregon; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elbert Fuller; a daughter, Ethel Louise Fuller; two sisters, Bessie Simmons and Nora Pritt; and two brothers, Grady Brown and Clifford Brown.
Graveside services were held Monday at the Morningside Cemetery in Renick.

Richard P. Hedrick
Richard P. Hedrick, age 82, of Alliance, Ohio, formerly of Pocahontas County, died July 29, 1998, at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital in Buckeye, of an apparent heart attack.
Mr. Hedrick was born July 14, 1916, at Whitmer, and was the son of the late Charles and Clara Warner Hedrick.
He was a member of Alliance Baptist Temple in Alliance, Ohio, and was a stationary engineer.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Gail Mullennon Hedrick, of Alliance, Ohio; three daughters, Judy Martin, of Alliance, Ohio, Karen Anders, of Independence, Virginia, and Kathy King, of Salem, Virginia; two sons, Rick Hedrick, of Salem, Virginia, and Randy Hedrick, of Ravenna, Ohio; one sister, Bonnie Matheny, of Bartow; and 1 brother, Brooks Hedrick, of Fairport Harbor, Ohio; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Delores Faye.
Funeral services were held Sunday, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Chapel in Arbovale with Rev. David Rittenhouse. Burial was in Arbovale Cemetery.

Raymond J. Dilley
Raymond Jay Dilley, of Richmond, Virginia, formerly of Durbin, died July 23, 1998, of cancer. He was the son of the late Austin W. Dilley and Iva Wood Dilley.
He was a World War II Veteran having served as recruiting Sergeant in Virginia, and also in the Medical Corps in Germany.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Robinson Dilley, and one son, Ray J. Dilley.
The survivors include two brothers, Melvin A. Dilley and Max Eugene Dilley, of Elkins, and one sister, Leona Zoe Rainey, of Beverly.
Graveside service was held in Dale Memorial Park by the pastor of Ramsey Memorial Methodist Church.

Quentin M. Underwood
Quentin M. Underwood, age 66, of Marlinton, died July 28, 1998, in Ocala, Florida.
He was a high school biology teacher, an Army veteran, and a Baptist.
Born at Huntersville November 15, 1931, he was the son of the late Kennie Underwood and Duffie Pyles Underwood Moore.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were three sisters, Elsie, Verna and Mary Ellen, and four brothers, Glen, Carl, Calvin, and a baby boy.
Surviving him are three sisters, Beulah Underwood, of Baltimore, Maryland, Reva Poland, of Phoenix, Arizona, Wanda Johnson, of Dunkirk, Maryland; and five brothers, Renick Underwood, of Mims, Florida, James Melton Underwood, of Harmony, Pennsylvania, Kennie Underwood, of Marlinton, Joy Underwood, of Danville, and Eugene Underwood, of Summersville.
Services were held at 11 a. m. Saturday at VanReenen Funeral Home by the Rev. Norman Lee Alderman. Burial was in the Beaver Creek Cemetery.

James C. Anderson
James C. Anderson, age 67, of Route 1, Marlinton, died Tuesday, July 28, 1998, at Charleston Area Medical Center.
Mr. Anderson served in the U. S. Marine Corps in the Korean War. He was a Methodist and a member of Senior Citizens and A. A. R. P.
He was born September 4, 1930, the son of Madge Dilley Hill, of Elkins, and the late James O. Hill.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Sharon J. Dean, of Collinsville, Mississippi, and a brother, Marvin O. Hill, of Beverly.
A sister, Ramona Lee Defibaugh, is deceased.

Ruby P. Whitt
Ruby P. Whitt, age 87, of Crescent City, Florida, formerly of Pocahontas County, died Sunday, August 2, 1998, at Putman Community Hospital.
She was a nurse's aide and a member of the United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Whitt was born at Frankford April 24, 1911, the daughter of Hezekiah McClintic Kershner and Betty Ann Gardner Kershner.
Her husband, Warren "Bud" Whitt, is deceased.
She was the last of her family. Deceased are three sisters and seven brothers.
Visitation will be at VanReenen Funeral Home Wednesday night from 6 to 8.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a. m. Thursday by the Rev. Dennis Mehaffie in Mountain View Cemetery.
