Oren Waugh

Howard Oren Waugh, age 81, of Buckeye, died Friday, October 8, 1999, at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Waugh was retired from the Weights and Measures Division of the West Virginia Department of Labor. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was an active member of the Marlinton United Methodist Church, a life member of VFW Post 4595 and the Disabled American Veterans, a member of Masonic Lodge #127 and American Legion Post #50.
He was born at Marlinton September 15, 1918, the son of the late McKinley and Ada Maude Redden Waugh.
Surviving him are his wife, Gladys Dunbrack Waugh; a daughter, Marvena Ann Meeks, of Ridgway, Pennsylvania; a son, Norval Earl Waugh, of Fredericksburg, Virginia; a sister, Aileen Dodrill, of South Charleston; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p. m. in the Marlinton United Methodist Church by the Rev. Stanley Clark and Earl "Butch" Michael. Burial with military and Masonic graveside rites was in Mountain View Cemetery.

Rawna M. Bosley

Rawna Marie Bosley, age 52, of Durbin, died Tuesday, October 5, 1999, at Davis Memorial Hospital, in Elkins.
She was born November 20, 1946, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John and Dorthy Angus.
Rawna was a LPN for 35 years. She was formerly employed at Davis Memorial Hospital and last employed at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital. Rawna was a member of the St. Marks Catholic Church, of Bartow.
She is survived by her husband, John Bosley; five sons, Larry, Shawn, Evan, Jon M., and Adam Bosley; a daughter, Megan Bosley; 3 grandchildren; her father, John Angus; one sister, Paula Sweeder; one brother, Jan Angus.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorthy Angus.
A Catholic mass and memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 16, at the St. Marks Catholic Church at Bartow at 1 p.m.
