Robert Lovelace
Robert "Bobby" Lovelace, age 61, of Lewisburg, died June 20, 2000, in a Winston-Salem, North Carolina, hospital after a short illnesis.
Born May 24, 1939, in Dunmore, he was the son of the late Samuel C. and Juanita P. Arbogast Lovelace.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Fairlea and a retired employee of Westvaco Company, Covington, Virginia, with 30 years' service.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Linda Lee Lovelace and Dolly Bell Lovelace.
Surviving him are his wife of 41 years, Yvonne "Bonnie" Lovelace; three daughters, Lisa Young, of Oak Hill, Brenda Lee Lovelace, of Concord, North Carolina, and Sandra Lynn Lovelace, of Lewisburg; three brothers, William F. Lovelace and Samuel C. Lovelace, Jr., both of Dunmore, and Leon Lovelace, of Ronceverte; and three grandchildren.
Services were held June 24 at Longanacre Funeral Home in Fairlea by the Rev. Susan Erskine. Burial was in Greenbrier Memorial Gardens, Lewisburg.

Glenna C. Grotz
Glenna C. Greotz, age 83, died June 10, 2000, in Seattle.
Born at Buckeye on February 25, 1917, she was the daughter of Jason B. and Hattie Sharp Cloonan.
She married Stoll F. Grotz on October 13, 1955.
She was a 1936 graduate of Craigsville High School, Virginia, also a graduate of National Business College, Roanoke, Virginia.
She worked 15 years at Hercules Powder Company as a bookkeeper in Wilmington, Delaware. She was a member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Grotz was preceded in death by her husband, Stoll F. Grotz, in 1982.
She is survived by one brother, Fred M. Cloonan, of Seattle, two sisters, Pinnie Land, of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Eva Jane White, of Marlinton, and several nieces and nephews.
Her body was laid to rest with grave side rites in Wilmington, Delaware, at Riverview Cemetery.
