Susan Elaine Kelley Faulknier
Susan Elaine Kelley Faulknier, age 41 of Marlinton, died unexpectedly Friday, November 7, 2003.
Born in Marlinton on April 3 1962, she was the daughter of Kenneth G. Kelley and the late Wanda S. Kelley.
She was a partner/financial director of R.W. Faulknier Excavating and employed as a secretary for the Pocahontas County School Board. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church Huntersville, the Marlinton Middle School PTO and various other organizations.
She was a 1980 graduate of Pocahontas County High School and a 1983 graduate of Glenville State College.
Surviving her are husband, Richard W. Faulknier; two sons, Lucas W. Faulknier and Matthew K. Faulknier, both at home; father Kenneth G. Kelley; a sister, Jane K. McMullen; grandmother, B. Kathleen Kelley, all of Marlinton.
The Rev. Jerry Moore held funeral services Monday, November 10, 2003 at First Baptist Church Huntersville, with burial at Mountain View Cemetery.

John Henry Nelson
John Henry Nelson, 59, of Reisterstown, Maryland, formerly of Randallstown, Maryland died Thursday, November 6, 2003, at home.
He was born in Durbin, the son of the late Lester and Leta Nelson. He graduated from Green Bank High School in 1962. He was a recipient of the Golden Horseshoe Award. He served in the army in Korea.
John worked for Bendix and then Xerox until his retirement in 1993.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Hammacker.
He is survived by his sister, Helen Grogg, of Sykesville, Maryland, and his brothers, David Nelson, of Glen Bernie, Maryland, and Jerry Nelson of Marlinton.
Funeral services were held at Haight Funeral Home in Sykesville, Maryland. A private burial was held in Lakeview Memorial Park in Randallstown, Maryland.

Chloe Nicole Kane
Chloe Nicole Kane, infant daughter of John Michael and Melissa Kane, of Arbovale, was stillborn on Sunday, November 2, 2003, at Davis Memorial Hospital in Elkins.
Maternal grandparents are Sue Williams, of Philippi, and Gary Alderman, of Salem
Maternal great-grandparents are Lucille Nethken and the late B. H. Nethken, of Mabie, and Lois and Woodrow Alderman, of Buckhannon.
Paternal grandparents are Mike and Judy Kane, of Green Bank.
Paternal great-grandparents are Delbert and Mary Cassell, of Arbovale, and Odessa Kane, of Cass.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, November 8, at the Arbovale Cemetery.

Judith Miller Ramsey
Judith Ann Miller Ramsey, age 62, of Marlinton, died Friday, November 7, 2003, at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital after several months' illness.
She was a member of the Marlinton United Methodist Church, Marlinton Women of the Moose, and Order of Eastern Star.
The daughter of the late Robert L. and Clara Herrington Miller, she was born in Marlinton July 12, 1941.
A brother, Robert H. Miller, is also deceased.
Mrs. Ramsey is survived by her husband, Donald J. Ramsey; two daughters, Debbie Beck, of Baker, and Marsha McNeill, of Buckeye; a son, Robbie Ramsey, of Marlinton; a sister, Roberta L. Smith, of Marlinton; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at VanReenen Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert Mann.
