Norman Edward Wagner
Norman Edward "Ed" Wagner, 82, of Marlinton, died late Tuesday, August 3, at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

Rev. Danny M. Arbogast
The Rev. Danny Milton Arbogast, 66, of Renick, died July 30, 2004, following a long illness.
He was born on October 13, 1938, in Valley Head, the son of the late Keefer and Minnie Arbogast.
Rev. Arbogast served four years in the U. S. Air Force. He earned a Regents Bachelor of Arts from Glenville State College and a Bachelor of Science in Bible from Valley Forge Christian College, as well as Certificates of Attainment from the Divinity School at Duke University. He was on the Board of Directors of the Burlington Children's Home.
He served several United Methodist Churches in West Virginia as pastor over an 18 year period.
Survivors include his wife, Maryona Arbogast; six children, Skip, Cindy, Kim, John, Paul, and Lesley; one brother, Max Arbogast; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford Arbogast, and a sister, Phyllis Sullivan.
A memorial service will be held at the Renick United Methodist Church on Thursday at 2 p.m. with a time of fellowship and reflection at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to the Renick United Methodist Church building fund.

Charles Davis McClung, Jr.
Charles "Chuck" Davis McClung, Jr., age 62, of Columbus, Ohio, died Thursday, July 29, 2004, at Kobacker House after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born March 5, 1942, in Marlinton, he was a son of Erma McClung and the late Charles D. McClung, Sr.
He was a dedicated truck driver for Walmart, Grove City, Ohio.
Preceding him in death were his father and a brother, Gale Thomas McClung.
Mr. McClung is survived by his wife of 43 years, Tamara Hessler McClung; two daughters, Robin Bunce, of Grove City, Ohio, and Victoria Renea Lahr, of Columbus; two sons, Charles "Tony" McClung and Joe McClung, both of Columbus; his mother; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Farthing, Vicky Duey, of Galloway, Ohio, Debbie Hessler, of Orlando, Florida, Maria Hessler of Galloway, Ohio.
Funeral service was held Monday morning at Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel in Columbus, with Pastor Aaron Chivington. Interment was in Alton Cemetery.

Samuel "Mark"Felton, Sr
Samuel "Mark" Felton, Sr., age 72, of Dailey, died Thursday, July 29, 2004, at his home, after several years of failing health.
Born December 18, 1931, at Moatsville, he was the son of the late Fred and Ferol Miller Felton.
On May 27, 1950, he was united in marriage to his wife of 54 years, Rita June Murphy Felton.
Mr. Felton is survived by his wife; two sons, Sam Felton, of Marlinton, and Steve Felton, of Mill Creek; three grandsons and two granddaughters, a great-grandson, and two great-granddaughters.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother, John David Felton, and an infant sister, Gloria.
He was an active member of the Mill Creek United Methodist Church, and worked with the Tyrand Parish Ministries and summer youth groups. He was a volunteer with the Valley Unit Emergency Squad, and a 25-year member of the Randolph Masonic Lodge No. 55 AF & AM of Beverly, and avid outdoorsman. He worked many jobs but was mainly an over-the-road truck driver and carpenter until becoming disabled in 1992.
Funeral services were conducted at the Runner Chapel Sunday afternoon by the Rev. Carroll McCauley, the Rev. Verl Simmons, and Elder Howard Harper. Interment was in the Mountain State Memorial Gardens at Gilman.

Dallas Joan Oliver
Dallas Joan Oliver, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, died Sunday, July 18, 2004, from leukemia.
She was born on October 18, 1942, in Marlinton.
She graduated from Green Bank High School in 1960 and Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1965. She taught school in Tennessee, Missouri, and for the past 21 years in Broken Arrow.
Surviving her are her husband, Steven; two sons, Kevin Oliver, of Dallas, Texas, and Brian Oliver, of Broken Arrow. She is also survived by her parents, Dale and Ruby Hill, of Green Bank; two sisters, Barbara Mills, of Nashville, Tennessee, and Lois Spruill, of Marietta, Georgia; and a brother, Bill Oliver, of Culpeper, Virginia.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 23, at Central Church of the Nazarene in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Burial was at Floral Garden Cemetery in Broken Arrow.
