Sgt. Major USMC Ret. Stanley Reed Hall, age 74, of Powhatan, Virginia, died Saturday, February 19, 2011, as a result of complications of Lewy Body Disease.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Shannon.

He is survived by his wife, of 53 years, Belle Hall; a daughter, Sharon Hall, of Powhatan, Virginia; two grandchildren, Reed Olzer and Shannon Hall; a sister, Jean Smith, of West Virginia; a nephew; and five nieces.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, February 22, from 2 -4 p.m. and from 6 -8 p.m. at Bennett and Barden Funeral Home in Powhatan. Funeral service is Wednesday, February 23, 11 a.m. at the Red Lane Baptist Church, Powhatan. Interment will be in Westhampton Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Red Lane Baptist Church.
