Ella Mae Taylor, age 89, of Renick, died Sunday, February 27, 2011, at her home.

Born November 11, 1921, at Denmar, she was a daughter of the late Otis McKinley and Mabel Mae Wooddell Dilley.

Ella was a member of the Renick Baptist Church and a former employee of Kellwood Corporation.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mason Mathias Taylor; a son, Samuel Taylor; and three brothers, June Dilley, Bill Dilley and Clark Dilley.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Hanson, and husband, Walter, of Renick; three grandchildren, Dean Hanson, Chris Hanson and Clark Taylor; seven great-grandchildren, Brody Hanson, Chase Hanson, Olivia McHale, Sean Hanson, Ben Taylor, Samantha Taylor and Dan Taylor; three sisters, Alice Gertrude Barnette, of Ripley, Edna Lee Stashek, of Millstone, New Jersey, and Betty Sue Wiggins, of Carbondale, Pennsylvania; a brother, Russell Grant Dilley, of Carbondale, Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, March 1, from 7-9 p.m. at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, at Renick Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Barnett officiating. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery in Renick.
