Rodney Dale Stacy, age 72, of Droop Mountain died Friday, March 4, 2011, at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital.

Born March 25, 1938, at Renick, he was a son of the late George and Opal Christian Stacy.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Ray Stacy; and a sister, Bonnie Jean Tuel.

He is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Stacy and Brenda Moore, both of Enola, Pennsylvania; a son whom he helped raise, Michael Blake, and wife, Nadine, of Droop Mountain; 10 grandchildren, Dale Davis, Joyce Bucher, Robert Gill, Thomas David, II, Tara Davis, Alexus Moore and B. J. Rhodes, all of Enola, Pennsylvania, Natalie Blake, Sabrina Blake and Jessica Blake, all of Droop Mountain; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Mary Lou Keys, and husband, Wesley, Ruth Osborne, and husband, Tom, and Linda Kay Stacy, all of Culpepper, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service is Wednesday, March 9, 2 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery in Renick. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
