Keith Allen Davis, age 49, of Marlinton, formerly of Peterstown, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at his home.

Born May 5, 1961, at Bluefield, he was a son of Lowell A. Davis and the late Peggy J. Ellis Davis.

Keith was a Park Superintendent at Watoga State Park, was a 1980 graduate of Peterstown High School, a 1984 graduate of Concord College and a member of the John Dove Lodge #78 A.F. & A.M of Peterstown. He was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. He was a loving husband and father.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, L. Brian Davis; and half-brother, Leroy Spangler.

In addition to his father and step-mother, Anna Mae Davis, he is survived by his wife, Kristine Parathyras Davis, of Marlinton; a son, Logan Allen Davis, of Marlinton; a sister, Diane Mahoney, and husband, Tim, of Knoxville; a half-sister, Barbara Ball, of Peterstown; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful dog, Scout.

Memorial service is Saturday, March 12, 1 p.m. at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown with William A. "Bill" Bailey officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
