Dallas R. Clayton, age 84, of Parkersburg, died Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at the Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg.

Born November 2, 1926, at Frank, she was a daughter of the late George A. and Mary Rachel Flenner Buterbaugh.

Dallas was a 1945 graduate of Green Bank High School, was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Grafton and enjoyed painting and her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray P. Clayton; two sisters, Phyllis L. Long and Letitia Pearl Kittle; and a brother, George Buterbaugh, Jr.

She is survived by two daughters, Cindy Zickefoose, and husband, Rick, of Parkersburg, and Colleen Clayton, and husband, Randy Gaines, of Mt. Vernon, Washington; four grandchildren, Dallas Kay Zickefoose, Sonny Ray Zickefoose, Aaron Gaines and Ashtynn Gaines; a sister, Anita M. Geldbaugh, of Parkersburg; a brother, Robert E. Buterbaugh, of Akron, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews in Minnesota and Ohio.

Family will receive friends, Friday, April 1, from 6 -8 p.m. at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home in Vienna. Graveside service is Saturday, April 2, 1 p.m. at the Jones Cemetery in Fairmont with Pastor Norman Butler officiating.
