Frances Arlene Taylor

Frances Arlene Kelly Taylor, age 78, of Dunmore, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital in Buckeye.

Born May 9, 1932, at Wesley Chapel she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Evelyn Clark Kelly.

Frances was a homemaker and was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben Taylor; a sister, Elsie Sheets; and an infant sister.

She is survived by four children, Mike Taylor, of Dunmore, Teresa Linear, of Morgantown, Amy Johnson, of Lewisburg, and Bruce Taylor, of Dunmore; two step-daughters, Barbara Mason, of Inwood, and Connie White, of White Sulphur Springs; seven sisters, Mona Rankin, Leta Wilfong, Dorothy Gaul, Norine Simmons, Lucille Ratliff, Georgia Townsend and Kathy Wolfe; a brother, Edsel Kelly; 10 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and 10 step-great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends Thursday, April 7, from 6-8 p.m. at VanReenen Funeral Home. Funeral service is Friday, April 8, 1 p.m. at VanReenen Funeral Home with Rev. David Fuller officiating. Interment will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Green Bank.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pocahontas Senior Center.
