Henrietta Hall Ober Smith, age 81, of Minden, Michigan, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011, in a Kalamazoo, Michigan Hospital.

Born July 22, 1930, at Thornwood, Henrietta was one of 10 children of the late Oren and Gladys Ober.

Following her marriage to Arlie Smith, the couple made their home in Michigan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by twin babies, a daughter, Patricia; two sisters, Irona Smith and Bertha Moats; two brothers Fred and Oren, Jr.

She is survived by one son, Terry Ober, of Bartow; three daughters, Joyce, Carol and Cindy, all of Minden, Michigan; a sister, Vida Burris, of Baltimore, Maryland; four brothers, Elmer, of Bartow, William, of Marlinton, George, of Thornwood, and Roy, of Baltimore, Maryland; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

At Henrietta's request, her body was cremated.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 7, in Michigan.
