Nancy Louise Kinnison
Nancy Louise Vaughn Kinnison, age 86, of Marlinton, died Friday, May 13, 2011, at Pocahontas Center in Marlinton.
Born September 17, 1924, at Bruffeys Creek, she was a daughter of the late Milton Dye and Josephine McNulty Vaughn.
Louise retired from Denmar Hospital where she had been a nurse aide and laundry worker. She was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Hillsboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Summers Neil Kinnison; three brothers, Henry Vaughn, James Ed Vaughn and an infant brother.
She is survived by two daughters, Judy Myers, of Front Royal, Virginia, Sandy Long, of Elkins; four sons, Dwight Kinnison, of Buckeye, Wayne Kinnison, of Fincheville, Kentucky, Glen Kinnison, of Green Bank, and Edwin Kinnison, of Hillsboro; three sisters, Pearl Bummer, of York, Pennsylvania, Vera Sue Downer, of Elkton, Maryland, and Mary Frances Vaughn, of Cambridge, Maryland; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends Saturday, May 14, 6 - 8 p.m. at VanReenen Funeral Home. Funeral service is Sunday, May 15, 2 p.m. at VanReenen Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Moore officiating. Interment will be in Emmanuel Cemetery in Hillsboro.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Pocahontas Center.
