Sadie Frances Bullock
Sadie Frances Lambert Conn Bullock, formerly of Baltimore, Maryland, died Saturday, May 28, 2011.
Born May 14, 1930, at Arbovale, she was a daughter of the late Clay and Jessie Lawrence Lambert.
Sadie married Lewis R. Bullock on July 18, 1964, and after they retired from General Motors, Baltimore, Maryland, they returned to the Lambert Homeplace to live. She was of the Methodist faith and was a member of Pine Grove Chapel where she also attended worship during her childhood.
For 81 years and two weeks the world has shined a little brighter for during that time we have had our mother/nana here with us. Although the days will seem a little dimmer we know that she is now a star in Heaven. We love you and you will always be our "Crazy Sadie."
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Junior Lambert, Cretes Lambert, Clen Lambert, Paul Lambert and Emmet Lambert; and three sisters, Nola Raines, Naomi "Toots" Cross and Betty Lambert.
She is survived by her husband, Lewis Bullock, of Arbovale; children, Karen Conn Hoeffler, and husband, Bill, of Ormond Beach, Florida, Kenneth Warner, and wife, Joy, of Upper Track, Joseph Conn, Sr., and wife, Jackie, of Essex, Maryland, Pamela Conn Waybright, and husband, Buster, of Franklin, and Larry Bullock, and wife, Michelle, of Lenior, North Carolina; foster grandchildren, Daryll Foster and Damione Bullock, and her brother, Herald Lambert, all of Arbovale; she was "Nana" to Jeffery Barker, and wife, Lisa, of Englewood, Florida, Joseph Conn, Jr., and wife, Cindy, of Bel Air, Maryland, Jeremy Conn, and wife, Katie, of White Marsh, Maryland, Shawn Brock, of Harrisonburg, Virginia, Jessie Burke, of Stephens City, Virginia, Brittany Conn, of Joppa, Maryland, and Tyler Conn, of Essex, Maryland; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Thursday, June 2, and Friday, June 3, from 6 8 p.m. at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale. A celebration of life will be Saturday, June 4, 11 a.m. at the Arbovale United Methodist Church.
