Virginia "Ginny" Ann Hunt Killinger, age 52, of Maiden, North Carolina, died Sunday, June 26, 2011, at the Palliative Care Center and Hospice of Catawba Valley.

Born June 5, 1959, at Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Kathy Friesner Hunt.

Ginny was an active member of Exodus Baptist Church. She loved camping, the outdoors and had a big heart, always putting others first.

She is survived by her husband of seven years, William "Bill" Killinger; a daughter, Misty Mullins, of Raleigh, North Carolina; two brothers, Ronnie Hunt, and wife, Rita, of Premier, and Ralph Hunt, and wife, Karen, of Hickory, North Carolina; a sister, Linda Haertlein, and husband, Andy, of Conover, North Carolina; and a half-sister, Sandy Smith, and husband, Phillip, of Bluefield.

Funeral service is Wednesday, June 29, 6 p.m. at the Exodus Baptist Church with Revs. Hubert Shew, John Hunt and William Hunt officiating. Interment will be in Old Premier Cemetery in Premier. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 4:30 -5:45 p.m.
