Mary Elizabeth Geiger, age 71, of Cass, died Saturday, July 2, 2011, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

Born November 4, 1939, in Nuttalburg in Fayette County, she was a daughter of the late Vaughn and Gladys Luke Geiger.

She was a lifelong resident of Cass, a member of the Alexander Memorial Presbyterian Church at Stony bottom and a retired reservationist with United Airlines.

Mary is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Jean Hall, of Panama City, Florida, and Julie Ann Crowell, of Charles Town; a sister, Margret Gardner, of Clover Lick; two brothers, Andy Geiger, of Stony Bottom, and James Geiger, of Corbin, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Jeremy Geiger, of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and Gabrielle Crowell, of Charles Town; and two great-grandchildren.

As per Mary's wishes, her body was cremated and a graveside service will be held at a later date.
