Luster Leroy Buterbaugh
Luster Leroy Buterbaugh, died Wednesday, August 17, 2011, following several illnesses.
Born October 30, 1920, at Dunmore, he was a son of the late Mac McKinley and Margie Williams Buterbaugh.
Luster attended school in West Virginia and served as a member of the Armed Forces during World War II. He was employed at Atlantic Marine Shipyard where he retired as a welder supervisor.
In addition to his parents, he was his first wife, Mildred Nix Hall; a daughter, France Barber Buterbaugh; and a son, Steven Vinton Buterbaugh.
He is survived by his wife, Leona Carpenter Buterbaugh; a son, Charles Leroy Buterbaugh; a sister, Dorothy Johnson; twin granddaughters, Frances C. Barber and Helen M. Barber, as well as several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service with military honors was August 21 at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home.
