Dennis Dharl Dever, age 88, of Jasper, Alabama, formerly of Marlinton, died Thursday, November 24, 2011, at Ridgewood Healthcare.

Born February 5, 1923, at Marlinton, he was a son of the late Earl Bible and Zela Murdock Dever.

Funeral service Monday, November 28, 2011, at 11 a.m. at VanReenan Funeral Home with Hershel O'Guin officiating. Interment in Mountain View Cemetery.
