Loretta Dean Shears, age 78, of Harrisonburg, Virginia, died Saturday, January 28, 2012, at VMRC.Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 31, 7 -9 p.m. at the Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Funeral service is Wednesday, February 1, 2 p.m. at the Harrisonburg Baptist Church with Rev. Stacy Nowell officiating assisted by Dr. Jack Mercer.

Private burial will be in the Arbovale Cemetery at a late date.
