Howard "Red" Arnold Payne, age 93, of Belington, departed this life Sunday, February 19, 2012, at 12:35 p.m. in Hospice Care Corporation in Elkins. He had been in declining health for the past several months.

Family will receive friends Friday, February 24, from 3 - 9 p.m. at the Talbott Funeral Home in Belington. Funeral service is Saturday, February 25, 2 p.m. at the Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church in Elkins with Pastor Joanne Glasser officiating. Interment will be in the Fraternal Cemetery near Belington where the Belington Masonic Lodge #125 AF and AM will conduct ritualistic graveside rites and military rites will be accorded by the Belington American Legion Post #96.
