Sylvia Hively Johnson, of Mineral, Virginia, died at her residence Wednesday, April 11, 2012, from melanoma cancer.

Funeral service is Monday, April 16, at 11 a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home in Locust Grove, Virginia, with Rev. Bryan Buckles officiating. Interment will be in the Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria, Virginia. Family will receive friends a half hour prior to he service.
