Michael and Kim Vandevender, of Green Bank, are proud to announce the birth of their son, Daniel Allen Vandevender. Born March 7, 2012, at 1:10 p.m. in Davis Memorial Hospital he weighed seven pounds, one ounce.

Siblings include Chyanne Vandevender. The mother is the former Kim Murphy.

Maternal grandparents are Mark Murphy, of West Union, and Kay Rose, of Symrna, Tennessee. Paternal grandparents are Danny and Diana Sheets, of Green Bank. Great-grandparents are Carolyn and Benjamin Simmons, of Shinnston, Lois and Clem Murphy, of West Union, the late Orville and Helma Sheets and the late Ben and Shirley Rexrode.
