Elsie L. "Mid" Irvine Hefner Long, age 87, of Mill Point, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia.

Funeral service was July 21 at Marvin Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Kerry Workman officiating. Interment was in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
