You are invited to Create Pocahontas. If you have a genuine desire to improve your community, are willing and able to learn and apply new ways of getting things done, and have the motivation and willingness to work on broader issues, you should be part of Create Pocahontas.

Are you a merchant, a retailer, an artist, or in the hospitality industry? Are you a young person or youth in the area that is interested in shaping your future? Part of government, or a governmental agency? A business owner, musician, educator, or farmer? Or you have retired to our beautiful county? We want everybody with creative ideas and the energy to do something with your ideas.

Create Pocahontas wants to build a group of people involved in planning and execution of projects that will move your community toward a shared vision of the future.

We meet at the Snowshoe Mountain Career Center on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
