New River Community and Technical College is committed to providing high-quality education that is both affordable and accessible to students of all ages in southeastern and south-central West Virginia.

New River offers programs that address a variety of critical educational needs. We give adult students of all ages the opportunity to earn college credits that will transfer to a four-year baccalaureate degree program, to earn technical degrees and certifications in many fields that are currently in demand, or to pursue continuing education or customized workplace training in response to changing employment trends and needs identified by employers.

New River combines tradition with innovation to meet the needs of its students. Combining a talented faculty with the latest technological advances, New River provides a broad range of instructional methods including distance learning through its Interactive Video Network (IVN), web-based instruction in conjunction with various partners throughout the United States, and traditional courses offered at four different locations in our nine-county service region.
