Comparsa kicks off 2012-2013 season

The Pocahontas County Opera House kicks off its 2012-2013 Performance Series with the Latin and world rhythms of Comparsa on Saturday, July 21 at 7:30 p.m.The band's erformances include covers, originals and percussion jams; everything from salsa and merengue to gypsy styles, Bossa Nova and Venezuelan folk music. A multicultural feast for the ears, Comparsa is always eager to educate, entertain, and transport their audiences to another era or continent.
