The Pearl S. Buck Birthplace Museum has some exciting programs planned for the months of September and October.
This month's themed tour will be held on Sunday, September 25, at 2 p.m. and will focus on the literary accomplishments of Pearl Buck. The cost will be $10 per person.

A week later on Sunday, October 2, we will hold the annual Mid-Autumn Moon Festival. This year's festival will begin at 2 p.m. and will feature a variety of events including free tours of the museum, apple pressing demonstrations, music and a silent auction which will feature antiques and artwork.

A kite flying demonstration by Hillsboro Elementary School students will take place at 2:30 p.m. and an herb workshop is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. The workshop will focus on various herbs used in the 1890s in the United States, as well as China.
The event is free and open to the public and Asian and Autumn themed food will be available for sale.

In addition to these special events we have regular Museum tours on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
