Buck Pritt approached me and asked me to join. After I retired from the Forest Service, I joined. I feel it is my duty to honor veterans and pay my respect.
Why did you enlist in the National Guard after serving in the Army?

What advice do you have for new recruits?
Go for it. Itメs a good experience you canメt get anywhere else. I was drafted and proud to serve. I didnメt regret it. It gives you a fantastic experience, options to see and do. I got to see a lot of the world. Itメs good especially for those not sure of what they want to do with their lives. It isnメt for everybody, though.
