Pocahontas County High School will offer the following Adult Education classes in Business and Culinary.

ﾕ Business Class, Mondays and Wednesdays, 6 -8 p.m. beginning Monday, April 4. This class offers a variety of business topics such as: keyboarding (brush up on your rusty typing skills), computer applications (Microsoft Office 2007, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher) and business documents (letters, memos, invoices, purchase orders, tables, flyers, brochures and email.)

These classes will also help prepare those interested in taking the substitute secretary's test for the Pocahontas County Board of Education. ﾕ The Culinary Class, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6 - 8 p.m., beginning Tuesday, April 5, will offer a course in Basic Cake Creation and Decoration

-During the six week course you will learn how to prepare basic cake recipes from scratch and turn them into your own masterpiece. You will explore the fundamentals of preparing a cake, complementary filling and icing. You will learn the basic steps of decorating a cake.
