PCARSE TO LEARN ABOUT LIVING WILLS AND ESTATE PLANNING
The Pocahontas County Association of Retired School Employees will hold its spring meeting on Thursday, April 14, at 1 p.m., at the ᅠParks and Recreation office (the old school cafeteria) in the Board of Education building in Marlinton.ᅠ
J. L. Clifton, Attorney at Law, will speak on the importance of preparing the following: living will, medical power of attorney, and estate will. PEIA insurance has asked members to have a living will on file or deal with an increase in premiums in the coming year. A Notary will be available to finalize the document with the help of two witnesses.
The lunch will be catered by Rayetta's Lunchbox. Cost is $5 for members. ᅠNew members are encouraged to attend and consider joining our group.ᅠ A free lifetime membership will be given that day to some lucky person.ᅠ Please call Kay Beverage by Monday, April 11, at 304-799-4230 to make your lunch reservation.
