Youth Retreat: Youth Camp Director, Charlotte Slagle, is announcing Pocahontas Cooperative Ministries and Rev. Tommy and Mollie Watson will sponsor a Free Youth Retreat for children who have completed grades 1 through 8. Membership or attendance at any church is not a requirement. The theme for the retreat is "Jesus Truth Seekers" (Mission Possible). Bible Study Worship, and Christian Training will be strongly emphasized. There will also be crafts and recreation. Our goal is that this will be a memorable experience for the children. The retreat will be held at Ambassadors for Christ Campground at Huntersville beginning on Sunday, June 19, at 4 p.m. and ending on Wednesday, June 22, at 12:30 p.m. It is essential that the children be well-managed and cooperative - no profanity, irreverence, or disrespect. Registration forms will be available at most local churches. Registration Deadline - June 1, 2011. Space is limited and late registrations will only be honored if space is available.
