Hillsboro High School Class of 1951 gathered at the Hillsboro House Bed and Breakfast to begin the celebration of the 60th annversary of their graduation. An exceptionally well-prepared brunch was served to classmates Joan Morrison Cuskey, Lakie Anderson McMillion, Dr. Randall C. Cutlip, Betty Pritt Wright, John K. Fleming, Jr., Debeorah Landers Callison, Thomas W. Walker, Esther Dolan Ratcliffe, Maxine Daniels Wright, Betty Arbogast McCarty and Max L. Gum, as well as spouses in attendance, Margaret Stowers Cutlip, Shirley Perry Fleming and Harry Richard Cuskey.

Debeorah Callison displayed pictures, old yearbooks and other memorabilia which were interesting and amusing.
Each class member had written an autobiographical sketch for a booklet presented to each and to be sent to those who could not attend. The booklet contained pictures of the classes- Freshman to Seniors - sketches and a memorial page for deceased classmates Richard Hill, Robert Lowell Cutlip, Faye Lee Hayes, Jean Carrol Jefferys, James Donald Kershner, Sr., Nellie Rowena Hill Pitzer, Grace Joan Rose and Louvene Marie Dean Workman.

Those unable to attend the reunion were James Ray Clowser, Rose Surbaugh Coxey, Royal Foster Cutlip, Dorothy Hill Eckert, Jerry McCartney Farne, Elva Dalton Hill, William Hollandsworth and Ellen Burgess Kelly.

Some had not seen others since graduation. Naturally, there was much teasing and bantering back and forth. Visitation, gossip and laughs continued until afternoon.

The class attended the annual Hillsboro High School Alumni Banquet as a group to end their day of enjoyment.
