Recently, the Greenbrier Valley Circuit Riders, Lewisburg Chapter of the Christian Motorcyclists Association (CMA) completed their annual Run For The Son. Joining forces in this effort were members of the Salvation Riders of White Sulphur Springs and others who participated in the ride.

All the CMA chapters across the United States and around the globe rode on the same day to raise funds to be utilized for the advancement of the gospel all over the world and at biker rallies and motorcross events in the United States. Locally, more than $2,300 was raised through donations and pledges from individuals and businesses in Greenbrier and Pocahontas counties.

As the group prepared for their departure from White Sulphur Springs on a very cool and cloudy day, one of the highlights of the day occurred when the operator of a backhoe joined in the prayer circle. This provided a great opportunity for the Chapter Chaplain to provide a blessing to his equipment. A first time event for her, and an inspiration to all participating.

The group rode to Pocahontas County where they stopped for lunch at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory and the gracious hospitality of the staff at the Starlite Caf. At 1 p.m., the group paused for a corporate prayer before proceeding on. The ride continued through Cass and Linwood. Due to the weather a planned run across the Scenic Highway was cancelled and the riders returned to Lewisburg.Recently, the Greenbrier Valley Circuit Riders, Lewisburg Chapter of the Christian Motorcyclists Association (CMA) completed their annual Run For The Son. Joining forces in this effort were members of the Salvation Riders of White Sulphur Springs and others who participated in the ride.
