Dr. Cathy Slusher, of Harrisonburg, Virginia, and Don Flegel, of Cass, were married October 7, 2006, at St. Barnardﾒs Chapel in Snowshoe, by the Rev. Rob McClelland and the Rev. That-son Nguyen Ngoc.

The bride is the daughter of Leo and Juanita Slusher, of Franklin.ﾠ She is the granddaughter of Mabel Simmons, of Oak Flat.

The groom is the son of Ed and Betty Flegel, of Cleveland, Ohio.

Julie Clements, of Harrisonburg, was her motherﾒs maid of honor.ﾠ Bridesmaids were Abbie Jenkins, of Morgantown, and Alison Flegel, of Mesa, Arizona, both daughters of the groom.ﾠ ﾠﾠﾠ

Flower girls were Macie Clements, of Harrisonburg, daughter of the bride, and Maddie Jenkins, of Morgantown, granddaughter of the groom.

Ed Flegel, of Cleveland, was his sonﾒs best man. Ushers were Drew Clements, of Harrisonburg, son of the bride, and Ashley Jenkins, of Morgantown, son-in-law of the groom.

The bride graduated from Bridgewater College and Marshall University School of Medicine.ﾠ She is a partner at Harrisonburg OB/GYN Associates in Harrisonburg.

The groom graduated from West Virginia University.ﾠ He is employed as a soil scientist and forester for the USDA.

The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in St. Martin.
