William ﾓPatﾔ Woodford, Sr., age 75, of Durbin, died Thursday, October 26, 2006, at Davis Memorial Hospital in Elkins.

Born February 24, 1931, at Huttonsville, he was the son of the late Floyd and Vergie Barb Woodford.

He was fondly known as ﾓPappy, and was a maintenance supervisor for Easco Alum.ﾠ He was a Christian by faith.

Mr. Woodford was a member of the American Legion,, and was a United States Army veteran in Korea.ﾠ He was on the Durbin Town Council.

His parents and a sister, Elsie Shreve, preceded him in death.

Surviving him are his wife, Betty Mullenax Woodford; two sons, William Patrick Woodford, Jr., of Greensboro, North Carolina, and David Bradley Woodford, of Warren, Ohio; and five granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale by the Rev. David Rittenhouse.ﾠﾠ Burial was in the Arbovale Annex Cemetery with Military Honors.
