Gene Hannah Kesler, age 70, of Cass, died Monday, November 13, 2006, at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Kesler was a retired truck driver for Inter-State Lumber Company. The last few years he worked as a brakeman on Cass Scenic Railroad and was a life member of the Odd Fellows Lodge.

Born in Cass, Back Mountain Road, on March 12, 1936, he was the son of the late Pearl Arthur and Minnie Galford Kesler.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ralph Cassell and Harold Kes-ler.

Mr. Kesler is survived by his wife of 47 years, Alice Meeks Kesler; a son, Fredrick Pearl Kesler; two grandchildren; brother, Paul Kesler, of Cass; and two sisters, Alleene Marsh and Audrey Ellingwood, of California.

There will be no services.

In lieu of flower, donations may be made to Pocahontas Memorial Hospital.
