Mildred V. Cashwell, age 88, of Dunbar, died Thursday, November 30, 2006.

The daughter of the late Fenton and Julia Holmes McDowell, of Brownsburg, she grew up in Marlinton and worked in the domestic field for 40 years.

Surviving her are two sons, Isaac D. Cashwell, III, of Nitro, and John Williams Cashwell, of St. Albans; three daughters, Shanon C. Cashwell Mash, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Julia May Frances Cashwell Williams, of Sacramento, California, and Geraldine Cashwell Todd, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and many grandchildren.

Service will be at noon on Thursday at Preston Funeral Home in Charleston.
