Reneﾴ Davenport, of Plymouth, North Carolina, age 37, died Monday, December 11, 2006, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville, North Carolina, following a battle with cancer.

Born March 23, 1969, in Norfolk, Virginia, she was the daughter of Reuben B. Darden and Ernestine Gentili Foye, who survive.

Also surviving is her husband, Wayne Davenport, formerly of Marlinton, son of Stanley and Alice Davenport.ﾠ They were married on May 18, 2001.

Other survivors include her brother, Anthony V. Darden, of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

A memorial service was held December 14 in the Roper Baptist Church with Pastor Howard Simpson officiating.
