Americana art classes commence in Marlinton
Wednesday, March 30, 2011 - 8:50am
Linda Adams, left, and Sherry Hudson, right, discuss different coloring techniques during a Parks and Recreation art class on Monday evening at McClintic Library. The class was the first in a series of six teaching how to make an Americana-style wall hanging, colored with tea for an antique look. The second class will be held at the Convention and Visitors Bureau office on April 4 at 6:30 p.m. People who missed the first class are welcome to start with the second, but should call Adams at 304-799-4636 for a list of materials. The classes are offered through Parks and Recreation at a cost of $25. To sign up, call Lauren Bennett at 4304-799-7386.
