Looking for a place to eat with a little extra kick? Haurache Loco Restaurant, at the intersection of Rt. 219 and Rt. 66, has the right blend of spicy and savory Mexican food to set your palate aflame with flavor.

Decked out in traditional Mexican decor, the restaurant has an inviting atmosphere with tables and bar seating. Festive and colorful hand-woven blankets are draped along the walls and traditional Mexican home decor items are on display for sale.

The dining area is spacious enough that if the music inspires you, you can dance while you wait for your entre.

Whether you want to play it safe with such staples as tacos and burritos or you want to venture into the unknown with dishes like chilaquiles, you will find yourself surrounded by the aroma of great authentic Mexican food.

The chilaquiles, a mixture of chicken, spicy salsa, chips and cheese on a bed of refried beans has a great crunch and spicy chicken chunks, which were cooled down by the refried beans.

My dining companion had the fish tacos, with grilled tilapia, tomatoes, onions and lettuce. The fish gives a classic meal a fresh twist.

Dishes include beef, chicken and fish for meat options, or, if you wish, several of the dishes can be prepared as vegetarian.

Brought to you by the owners of Humbertoメs Authentic Mexican Food in Elkins, Huarche Loco has the right ingredients to spice up your life.
