During Dunmore Daze, people of the village honor two residents who have contributed to the community in a variety of ways, and crown them king and queen. This yearﾒs monarchs are King Bill Lovelace and Queen Dorothy Lovelace, above. Dorothy is Bill's sister-in-law and sister of Bill's departed wife. Bill is a well-known country music performer and NRAO retiree. Dorothy retired after a career with the State Department in Washington, D.C. and moved back to her hometown.
