Science enthusiasts gathered at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Green Bank Sunday to take part in the Science and Engineering Festival. Stations at the event included a chance to build a model rocket, making your own Saturn out of styrofoam balls and CDs and a look at robots made by students at Green Bank Elementary-Middle School. Other parts of the event included crawling through a 65-foot inflatable cave, a field trip to the archeological dig at Fort Warwick on the Bob Sheets property and tours of the GBT, the world's largest fully steerable radio telescope.
