WV 39 is now open after an early morning accidentﾠ closed the only east-west route into Marlinton.

A tractor trailer carrying lumber turned onto its side, spilling lumber in the road and onto Tim Wade's land.

The Pocahontas County Sheriff's Department and Marlinton Volunteer Fire Department are on scene, directing traffic and trying to open a lane for through traffic.
