NRAO to begin charging for tours

Beginning November 10, the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Green Bank will begin charging for bus tours.
The rates are as follows: Adults, $6; seniors, $5; children seven-12 years of age, $3.50; children six and under, free. Pocahontas County residents receive a $1 discount.
The NRAO Science Center is open Thursday through Monday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with tours taking place at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
The payment covers the video, demonstrations and bus tour. Visits to the exhibit hall are free.
