The Marlinton Ranger District of the U. S. Forest Service has a planned prescribed 122-acre burn on the northern side of Middle Mountain scheduled for Wednesday, April 25.

Ignition time will be between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. if weather conditions are suitable.

This burn is located eight miles southeast of Marlinton. Smoke may be visible in the area.
