North Central West Virginia Community Action is assisting residents who lost food in the recent storms to complete an application to request replacement food stamp benefits.

The applications must be turned in to the DHHR office by July 31, 2012. DHHR will determine if the food stamp benefits will be replaced.

Hours for assisting with the application are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The office is located at 806 Ninth Avenue in Marlinton.
