Casting call out for Cass-based movie
With a filming start date of September 3, the Cass-based movie, “Angel’s Perch,” is searching for local cast and crew members to bring the film to life.
Film producer and screenwriter J.T. Arbogast posted a blog entry on the Angel’s Perch website, asking for auditions for supporting roles, as well as crew members.
Supporting roles include:
Delbert, a 70-to-90 year-old male who is postmaster, a musician and, despite his age, is still the most eligible bachelor in town. Actor must be able to sing and play guitar, banjo or fiddle well.
Dr. Snyder, a 55-to-70 year-old male who is the local doctor who has taken care of everyone in the area as long as folks can remember.
Kevin, a 28-to-35 year-old male who is a fast talking, ambitious, young architect. He is also the best friend of the main character.
The casting call also has seven small or featured rolls, characters with only a few lines.
To make auditioning easier for locals, Arbogast is using the website, Let It Cast, where hopeful actors can post an audition video. Deadline for all auditions is August 12. To view the list of rolls and to submit a video, visit http://letitcast.com/en/castings/2099676430-angel-s-perch/parts
