Cass-based movie needs extras, other amenities
\With only a week before shooting begins, the Cass-based movie “Angel’s Perch” is in need of assistance and extras.
Several scenes in the film, including a cakewalk scene, require lots of extras to make up the background. Anyone interested in being in the film should email angelsperchcrew@gmail.com and include dates available and a recent photograph.
Producers are also seeking several donations of goods to be used on the set.
Feeding a cast and crew of an independent film can be a huge task, especially on a small budget.
Producer Kim Dilts-Arbogast said the Pocahontas County Convention and Visitors Bureau is a drop-off point for anything residents would like to contribute.
The list of possible items to donate include: protein bars, beef jerky, soda, coffee, Gatorade, peanut butter, jelly, crackers, cookies, pretzels, disposable cutlery, paper plates, napkins and cleaning supplies. The set also needs a handful of large garbage cans, which will be returned.
Dilts-Arbogast said she is also seeking farmers and/or bakers willing to donate produce and bread.
In order to keep the crew in constant contact with each other, producers also need to borrow walkie talkies with headsets.
Anyone interested in donating may contact Arbogast by email at info@angelsperch.com or call the CVB at 304-799-4636.
