The Magistrate court filed 573 misdemeanors and 133 felonies in 2009. In misdemeanors, there were 133 worthless check complaints, 73 drug charges, 59 DUI charges and 48 domestic battery and assault charges. In felonies, there were 46 drug charges, 14 uttering charges, 13 breaking and entering charges and eight DUI charges.
