According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.
In Magistrate Kathy Beverage's court:
Kimberly G. Deberry, 41, of Birmingham, Alabama, pleaded no contest March 18 to a charge of disorderly conduct. She was assessed a $50 fine, $159.50 in court costs and given credit for time served.
Robert Conrad Ard, 46, of Cass, pleaded guilty March 17 to charges of driving under the influence and no operator's. He was assessed a $350 fine, $359 in court costs, $155.50 in additional fees and sentenced to 10 days jail with credit for time served. Charges of registration violation and no proof of insurance were dismissed by motion of Assistant Prosecutor J. L. Clifton per plea agreement.
David J. Jones, 25, of Waterford, Ohio, pleaded guilty March 4 to a charge of driving under the influence. He was assessed a $250 fine, $209.50 in court costs, $80 in additional fees.
Bettie A. Fletcher-Cutlip, 38, of Jeffrey, pleaded guilty March 4 to a charge of unemployment violation. She was assessed a $100 fine, $159.50 in court costs and was ordered to pay $9,384 in restitution to the unemployment office at $100 per month. Three additional charges of unemployment violation were dismissed per plea agreement to pay restitution on all counts.
In Magistrate Janet Kershner-Vanover's court:
Lawrence E. Madison, 66, of Marlinton, was arrested March 19 on a charge of domestic battery. Bond was set at $2,500.
Russell R. Cane, 56, of Marlinton, was arrested March 20 on a charge of possession of a schedule II substance without prescription. Bond was set at $500. He was released from jail on the same day.
Bruce McCoy, 49, of Hillsboro, pleaded guilty March 9 to a charge of domestic battery. He was assessed a $250 fine, $150.50 in court costs and sentenced to one day jail with credit for time served.
